Well, I’ve just finished the 7th Harry Potter book. I’m not sure what to say about it. I promise the journal entry won’t hold any spoilers! But let’s see, I had to stop reading five times, once because I was so angry at a character I had to resist throwing the book, once to bask in the bittersweet satisfaction that I was correct about a certain event, and three times to cry. I must admit, I felt rather pathetic. However, I am also happy to say that 6 of my predictions came true and I’m still smarter than Potter. ^.^V I started reading the book at about 4 pm I believe, leaving half an hour out for dinner and another 20 minutes for all the times I was interrupted, it took me about 9 hours to read. Not my best time but oh well, I blame it on sever emotional distress. I can’t decide if I like the book or not though. I certainly won’t be reading it again for a while… Anyway, I’m done with the series now, it’s been quite a trip but I think that I’m glad it’s over. Now if only my other series would end… There is one series I would like to see continued, however unlikely it seems. That series is the Vampire Chronicles by Anne Rice. Unfortunately, I believe she has been quite clear that she will not be writing any more of those books. I weep for the loss and shall simply have to find solace in re-reading her brilliant works. Anyway, I was told I had to write a journal entry for this site so here’s one. Happy Lian? I’m being involved.
